Frequently asked questions

Why should I train with you

At the forefront of our philosophy is our commitment to animal welfare and force-free training. We understand the importance of treating animals with kindness and respect and working hard to communicate effectively with them.

Our approach is focussed on real life situations, working collaboratively with your dog to get the best quality of life for the both of you.

Can online courses really help my dog?

The short answer is yes! Our courses are expert led and teach you how to teach your dog. If you go to in person classes for an hour a week - that's less than 1% of your dog's week. That isn't going to train your dog, you practicing throughout the week is how they really learn.

Our courses offer much more than standard "training classes" including;
  • Expert instructor - Veterinary Behaviourist Dr Katie Friel-Russell giving you information you can trust
  • Theory lessons - so you understand how and why we do things
  • Step by step videos for each exercise - to can easily replay when you need and can see the progress for each stage
  • Life long access - revisit any time you need

What type of training do you offer?

We have online courses suitable for all dogs, of all breeds and ages. We have courses focussed on understanding your dog more, on life stages for your dog, life skills and a range of activities you can do at any point with your dog.

Which course should I buy?

We recommend our Understanding Your Dog as the first course for all families. Then depending on what you and your dog enjoy and where you're at in your training journey you can see what's next.

Learning how to perceive our puppy and to see things from her perspective has allowed us to avoid most of the issues we worried about and easily manage the few that did pop up. It has totally changed how we feel about and interact with other dogs – for the better!
